*This ticket is for 2 parents attending together. You may bring along your baby if they will be 0-7 months old at the time of the training.*
Every parent and caregiver should be prepared for all kinds of emergencies or accidents, whether it’s for your child or any child at the park, we need to be ready with the knowledge and skills to make sure the babies and children around us are safe. Join our 1st Aid Training to become certified in 1st aid for babies and children.
What’s included:
- Baby & Child 1st aid training
- Official Certificate of completion (DGUV)
- Snacks, tea & coffee
What you will learn:
- Recognizing emergencies involving children and responding appropriately
- Unconsciousness, the recovery position, and calling the emergency services
- CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for infants and children
- Airway emergencies, choking, and suffocation
- Febrile seizures, falls, head injuries, and bleeding
- Wound care, personal safety, and hygiene
- First aid in childcare and educational settings
Notes:
- The course will be held in English.
- You will receive an official certificate of completion for this course from “Erste Hilfe Schule Berlin“.
- This course is not covered by health insurance, but may be tax-deductible.
- Accident insurance / Berufsgenossenschaft / Unfallkasse: usually covered, depending on eligibility and prior approval rules.
- This is also a certified course for carers or other employment purposes. Officially recognized by the accident insurance funds and the German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV).

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the course date are possible subject to a €25 administration fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the course date are non-refundable, as the place has been reserved specifically for you.
If you are unable to attend, you may nominate a substitute participant at no additional cost up to the start of the course, provided you notify us in advance so we can update the booking details.
