Are you looking for a beautiful and engaging place to host your child’s birthday this year? 

At Montessori Mother ELC our doors are open to your family and loved ones for a special Montessori experience your child will love!

You can rent out the ELC and have the whole space to yourself. Additionally, we can prepare a special shelf with themed materials of your choice for the children to enjoy OR a trained Montessori guide can be there to lead the children in a personalised workshop of music, art, baking, or gardening!

Details

Day
Montessori Birthday Experiences are offered exclusively on Sundays.
Time
Your Montessori Experience can be scheduled for any time between 10:00 – 17:00.
Duration
2.5 hour event
+ 30 minutes set-up
+ 30 minutes clean-up
Total: 3.5 hours
*event time can be extended for a rate of 60 eur per half-hour*

1st Birthday Experience

includes

  • a fully prepared Montessori environment for babies and toddlers 0-18 months old
  • space for the birthday child + up to 9 friends

A deposit of 100 euros is required in case of any damages to our facilities or materials.

For any additional child, a fee of €15 per family applies.
Please note that the maximum capacity is 16 children and 1–2 accompanying adults per group.

Catering

Our caterer offers four plates of food (for example: fruit and veggie platter, canapés, waffles and crêpes, and a cheese/meat platter), as well as simple cakes (such as sheet cake or round cakes like apple cake) for about €350, depending on the number of guests and specific requests. The final offer will be adjusted accordingly.

Photography

Documentary-style photography to capture candid, heartfelt moments throughout the celebration.

Guided Montessori Activities

MONTESSORI CONCERT

A Montessori guide will join your event to share songs and dance in a special program for your little one and their friends. We will also prepare special musical materials for the children, similar to our Montessori Music Classes.

A Montessori guide will join your event to guide the children in a special cooking project, prepared especially for your child. Possible recipes to choose from include, mini muffins, cookies, tapas, and more!

ART ACTIVITY

A Montessori guide will join your event to guide the children in a special art project, prepared especially for your child. Possible activities to choose from include, painting, paper mosaics, jewellery, and more!

A Montessori guide will join your event to guide the children in a special gardening project. During this time children will decorate a flowerpot, plant a flower, herb, or vegetable, and learn how to take care of it!

When we receive your contact form, we will contact you by email to confirm the details of your Montessori Birthday Experience. We will also find a time for your booking appointment at the school.

At your booking appointment, you will get a tour of the school, sign the liability waiver, and pay the deposit and event fee.

Guided Montessori Activities

Rules & Policies

Entering & Leaving
  • A Montessori guide will come open the doors for you 30 minutes before your event for setting up. 
  • If you have booked a Montessori Birthday Experience with a theme or without an add-on activity, you and your guests will have the school to yourself for the 2,5 hour event.
  • If you have booked a Guided Montessori Activity, one of our teachers will be present for 1 hour during the activity time. During the remaining time, you will have the school to yourself. 
  • After the event, the teacher will return and then lock the doors 30 minutes after the end of the event. Please do not leave the school until the guide has returned for security reasons. 
  • We also ask that after all your guests have arrived, that you keep the front door closed and latched throughout the event for security.
Food & Drinks
  • NO alcohol is allowed on the property.
  • You are welcome to bring your own food, drinks, birthday cake, etc. We do not provide food or refreshments, except the food included in the Cooking Theme and Guided Baking Activity add-ons..
  • Please bring your own disposable plates, cups, and napkins for your guests to use.
  • Please clean up and throw away all food mess after the event. We have trash bags available for you. You can leave the filled trash bags in the entryway and we will throw them away for you.
Decorations
  • You are very welcome to decorate the rooms for the party! We will open the school for you 30 minutes early so you can come set up any decorations and food. One of our teachers will be there to help you with any assistance you need.
  • You are welcome to bring speakers to play music as well. However, we do have neighbours and it is a Sunday, so please be respectful and keep the volume low. 🙂
Liability & Damages
  • During the Montessori Birthday Experience, you take on all liability for any damages, injuries, or thefts which might occur during the event. A liability waiver must be signed in person, in advance. A printed copy will be available to you at your booking appointment.
  • A deposit of 100 euros is required in case of any damages to our facilities or materials. If there are no damages, this deposit will be returned to you the following day, after the school has been cleaned.
  • All children attending must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver. There is no child drop-off option for Montessori Birthday Experiences.
Clean-Up
  • We ask that families clean up after the event: throwing away trash, wiping up spills, taking down decorations, etc. However, if the school is left very messy, a percentage of the deposit will be retained for our time spent.
  • A cleaning fee is included in the price of your Experience Package. This includes resetting the school for our classes the next day, vacuuming, surface cleaning, etc.
