Meet the Owners of Montessori Mother ELC
Hello and welcome!
We’re Annika and Kim, the co-owners of Montessori Mother Early Learning Center. As passionate Montessori parents and trained educators, we are honored to continue growing this peaceful, inspiring space for children and families.
Our journey with Montessori began when we became mothers ourselves. Curious about respectful and developmentally supportive ways to raise our children, we discovered the Montessori approach — and were immediately drawn to its calm, thoughtful, and child-centered philosophy. That curiosity quickly grew into a deep commitment, leading us to pursue professional training and now, this exciting new chapter as owners.
Together, we bring a blend of hands-on parenting, Montessori education, and professional experience — from early childhood development to international work, photography, and community-building.
We’re excited to continue fostering a warm, inclusive space where children thrive and families feel supported.
We look forward to meeting you!

Annika and Kim, Co-Owners & Directors of Montessori Mother Berlin

My name is Charisma, and I am truly thrilled to be your guide at The Montessori Mother Early Learning Center.
Growing up in a time when children were free to explore the world fearlessly, my love for the Montessori way of learning began naturally; through curiosity, independence and discovery. That early sense of wonder has stayed with me ever since.
Before beginning this beautiful Montessori journey, I worked as an Associate Operations Manager for a Trade Insurance company covering the Middle East and Africa, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I hold a degree in Communication and Arts, Major in Broadcast Journalism, which has deeply shaped my appreciation for meaningful connection and creative expression.
I have been receiving intensive Montessori training since mid-year, equipping me to guide both newborns and babies, as well as to support parents and guardians in creating nurturing, developmentally rich environment.
Outside the classroom, I am a wife and proud mother of two children, aged 7 and 5, and Montessori principles have greatly influenced my parenting; helping me to create a home filled with calm, independence and joyful learning.
My passions include music, poetry, art and design, baking and cooking; all of which I’m excited to bring into our classroom. Whether we’re creating art, singing songs, or exploring the sensory world through baking, I look forward to sharing these creative experiences with your children.
I can’t wait to learn and grow alongside your little ones this term and to build a warm, collaborative relationship with each family. Together, we’ll make this a joyful and enriching Montessori journey!

My name is Iana, and I’m excited to be joining The Montessori Mother as a Montessori teacher.
I have a background in education as a foreign languages teacher and am also an AMI-trained Montessori pedagogue. I’ve been working with children for the past six years, and my Montessori journey began in 2019 when I started working as an assistant to a Montessori teacher. That experience deeply shaped my understanding of the Montessori philosophy and my love for working with children.
I believe every child is naturally curious and capable. My role as a guide is to support each child with respect, patience, and purposeful materials, helping them grow into confident and compassionate individuals. This term, I’m looking forward to creating a warm and engaging classroom where children feel free to explore, ask questions, and develop a lifelong love of learning. I’m especially excited to get to know each child’s unique personality and strengths.
A little about me—I’m a big fan of sports, languages, travelling, and design, and I enjoy bringing my interests and creativity into my work with children whenever possible.
I look forward to a wonderful term together and to partnering with you on your child’s Montessori journey.

I’m so happy to be joining the Montessori Mother ELC as a Montessori guide! My Montessori journey began during my pregnancy with my son, who is now six years old, and it has profoundly shaped my parenthood. Montessori inspired me to guide children with respect, to see even the youngest as capable beings, and to find joy in supporting their growth and independence. In our beautiful space, I focus on creating a calm and nurturing environment that invites exploration and supports each child’s natural development. I hold a Montessori diploma (PRIMA 0–6) from the Deutsche Montessori Gesellschaft, covering the full developmental span from birth to six years. I bring a special focus on supporting infants and toddlers (0–3 years) and multilingual development, inspired by raising my own child with multiple languages. Before becoming a Montessori guide, I studied Industrial Engineering and worked for more than a decade as a project manager in renewable energy and e-mobility. Outside of work, I love dancing, yoga, nature walks, traveling, and reading about child development and neuroscience. I’m looking forward to meeting you all and starting this exciting journey together!

My name is Mara, and I’m happy to be part of the Montessori Mother Early Learning Center. Montessori has been a central part of my life for the past nine years, both in my work and in how I live and parent.
I’m originally from Berlin and a mother of two children, born in 2017 and 2020. Our family is multilingual, and daily life has taught me a lot about communication, flexibility, and seeing the world from different perspectives. Becoming a parent has deepened my respect for children and their natural drive to learn when they feel safe, trusted, and understood.
I began my professional path in learning and development and I worked as a primary school teacher, and over time my work naturally moved more and more toward Montessori education.
I speak German, English, Spanish, and French, as well as a bit of Greek, which helps me connect easily with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
I come from an artist family, and creativity has always been part of my everyday life. I enjoy creating process art, improv theatre, and spending time outdoors on nature hikes. These interests naturally find their way into my work, not as activities to rush through, but as ways for children to explore, express themselves, and feel at home in their environment.
