Montessori presentation
In this video I model how I would show the potty to a child for the first time, or “give a Montessori presentation.” You will see that I speak slowly, isolate the words when I say them, avoid moving and speaking at the same time, and change the direction of the presentation depending on where the child would be sitting in relation to me.
These videos is for you to see how you might set up a similar space at home for your little one, practice how to present it to them, and introduce them when the timing is right. If you’re interested in where the materials I use come from, I have included the links below.
